As we continue to expand, we’re seeking a Data Engineer who will play a key role in supporting, analysing, testing and enhancing our behavioral data products, ensuring high quality outputs for clients and internal stakeholders.

The Role: You will sit within the Machine Learning team, helping ML engineers to deliver high-quality production models and data products through testing, analysis, validation and operational support. You’ll work across analysis, testing, validation and operational support, using SQL, Python and internal tooling to investigate issues, improve processes and deliver reliable data products. Our offices are in Trafford Park, Manchester and the role consists of hybrid working, where we ask for our team to be in the office for collaboration and team building a minimum of 2 days per week. The rest of the week is up to you; deep focus at home, or more of the same!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse product datasets to identify trends, anomalies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform testing and validation of new fields, logic changes and product releases.
  • Investigate data quality issues and support root cause analysis with Engineering and ML teams.
  • Write SQL and Python queries/scripts to interrogate data and automate checks.
  • Support internal stakeholders and clients with product queries, incidents and data requests.
  • Maintain clear documentation for datasets, logic, processes and known issues.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Operations teams to prioritise enhancements.
  • Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures with respect to Security, Quality and Health.
