Realityjam is a UK-based game development studio and developer platform building MMO titles for PC. We have partnered with Unity, the world's leading game engine, to create a structured 2-year pathway into the games industry for emerging artists and developers.
This is a 2-year Industry Access Program combining structured training with paid employment, designed to take you from foundational skills to a qualified Junior Game Artist role.
Year 1 – Scion Foundation Training (SFT)- A full-time (30 hours/week), 12-month pre-apprenticeship training course focused on game creation and Unity skills.
- Work on live, in-production game titles.
- Contribute original in-game assets (environments, skins, items) with professional credits.
- Build a verified portfolio of commercial game work.

Year 2 – Adeptus Apprenticeship- Upon completing the SFT, you progress directly into a guaranteed 12-month paid apprenticeship (4 days/week) as a Junior Game Artist.
- Build game worlds and assets for MMO titles using Unity and Blender.
- Work remotely, managed via Discord and Jira.
- Work toward Unity Certified Associate qualification (game artist or developer pathway).
- ~£17,000 base salary (part-time, 4 days/week).
- ~22 days holiday per year (including UK bank holidays).
- Pension and sick pay.
- Performance bonus: total earnings up to £22,000 per year.
Graduates will hold a globally recognised Unity Certified Associate credential. Employment offers for full-time Junior roles are made on a case-by-case basis following completion.
No formal experience required, but a portfolio of personal or professional work (3D art, game assets, environment art) will significantly strengthen your application.
