- As a Assistant Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our
Washington store.
Your main goal is to maximise profit while managing costs effectively.
You’ll lead by example, ensuring promotions are executed to company standards, the team understands daily targets, and exceptional customer service is consistently delivered.
Responsibilities
Report directly to the Store Manager.
Recruit, train, and appraise team members to maintain high performance.
Make full use of Google Workspace tools and our bespoke MEPOS systems.
Strive to exceed sales targets and bring innovative ideas to drive business growth.
Motivate and manage your team to achieve sales and operational efficiency.
Oversee stock control, making key decisions on ordering and inventory management.
Analyse sales data, forecast future performance, and identify growth opportunities.
Use MEPOS/AIO systems for data analysis, reporting, and forward planning.
Handle staffing matters such as interviews, appraisals, and performance reviews.
Provide or coordinate training and development opportunities for team members.
Ensure high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.
Maintain compliance with health & safety and security regulations.
Address and resolve customer feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
Attend and lead meetings, sharing updates on performance, initiatives, and priorities.
Regularly tour the sales floor, engaging with staff and customers to identify and resolve issues quickly.
Stay up to date with market trends, customer behaviour, and local competitor activity.
