- We are currently seeking a Part-time Retail Sales Assistant for our
- Ashington
Store.
The Retail Sales Assistant will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service through effective communication and interacting with customers on a daily basis.
This is a
8 hour contract.
Key responsibilities
- - Providing excellent customer service to all customers and ensuring their needs are met.
- - Assisting customers with their purchases, including providing advice on products and pricing information.
- - Handling cash transactions, managing payment transactions and ensuring till accuracy.
- - Processing customer orders, ensuring they are delivered and dispatched on time.
- - Maintaining the store’s visual merchandising standards to ensure it is always clean and tidy.
- - Assisting with stock management and inventory control.
Requirements
- - Previous experience in a customer-facing environment would be highly desirable.
- - Ability to handle cash transactions accurately with strong numeracy skills.
- - Good verbal communication skills are essential, along with a proactive and outgoing attitude.
- - A keen interest in technology and an awareness of current trends in the market.
- - Flexibility with working hours as shifts and weekend work will be required.
