About the Role
At Duckling Day Nursery, we are looking for an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our exceptionally well-qualified and experienced team. The ideal candidate will be a fun-loving, motivated individual who is passionate about working with children and able to work effectively as part of a team. In this role, you will assist team members in delivering the highest standards of care, compliance, and education for children, while also supporting the day-to-day operations of the nursery and building positive relationships with both staff and parents.
Responsibilities
- You will contribute ideas to planning to ensure children receive a high quality of learning and development.
- Liaise with colleagues regarding children's individual needs.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment at all times.
You will also receive excellent mentoring and support to achieve your goals and access a wide range of progression opportunities within the setting and the wider nursery group.
Training and Apprenticeship
Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours: Functional skills in Maths and English if required.
Apprenticeship Duration: This apprenticeship will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise. You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes on-the-job training and 20% off-the-job learning incorporated as part of your working day.
