Susana's Home From Home Day Nursery is an Ofsted-registered childcare facility located in Liverpool. They pride themselves on being a cosy & caring setting helping children grow with confidence, curiosity & joy. As an apprentice at the setting your daily responsibilities will include -
- Help set up activities
- Support children with personal routines
- Support communication skills
- Follow all safeguarding policies
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and staff
- Work under supervision and guidance
- Complete all qualification requirements
Working Week Monday - Friday hours to be arranged
GCSE grades 4 and below in Maths and English or equivalent is desired but not essential. Personal Qualities Trustworthy Keen Approachable Positive Have a genuine interest in working with children. Skills Required Caring Patient Kind Punctual Enthusiastic Willing to learn Training to be Provided
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day. You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
- Functional skills in Maths and English if required
