We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Physical Education (PE) Supply Teacher to provide daily cover at a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Waltham Forest. This is a flexible opportunity ideal for both qualified teachers (QTS) and experienced non-qualified instructors with a strong background in sports and education to work on long-term supply, starting immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Maintain a positive learning environment and strong classroom management
- Follow lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher
- Promote student participation, teamwork, and physical wellbeing
- Adhere to school policies, including safeguarding and health & safety procedures
Qualifications
- QTS is desirable but not essential if other relevant experience is held
- Experience teaching or coaching PE in a secondary school setting
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to different school environments
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
