As an early years apprentice, your duties will include;
- Carry out daily care routines to support children's health, wellbeing, and development.
- Plan and deliver engaging learning activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress to support their next steps in learning.
- Build positive relationships with parents and maintain effective communication.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and contribute to a safe and secure nursery environment.
- Actively participate in staff meetings, parents' evenings, and open days.

Training to be Provided
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day. You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
- Functional skills in Maths and English if required, We can offer progression into a full time Nursery Practitioner role following successful completion of a childcare qualification.
