As a Trainer for Teacher Training, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive training programmes to aspiring and experienced Trainers. You will facilitate the development of their teaching skills, pedagogical knowledge, and understanding of educational practices. Your expertise and passion for education will be instrumental in shaping the next generation of educators and ensuring the delivery of effective, learner-focused instruction.

This role will be primarily to deliver the following:

  • Learning and Skills Assessor Apprenticeship
  • Learning and Skills Teacher Apprenticeship
  • Education and Training Level 3
  • CAVA

Your key responsibilities are likely to be:

  • Course Delivery: Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for teacher training qualifications and apprenticeships, adhering to the curriculum plans and individuals' needs of your learners.
  • Content Development: Collaborate with the Teacher Training Manager to create and refine training materials, presentations, handouts, and assessments that align with current industry standards and best practices, including that learners are prepared for their end point assessment where necessary.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Design and administer formative and summative assessments to evaluate trainees' progress. Provide constructive and developmental feedback to support their growth and improvement.
  • Individualised Support: Recognise the diverse learning needs of trainees and offer personalised assistance, additional resources, or tutoring as required to enhance their learning experience.
  • Classroom Management: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and respects the diverse perspectives of trainees.

About You:

  • Have a recognised Level 3 (or above) teaching qualification - essential
  • Experience of delivering CAVA - essential
  • Experience of teaching practice, both face to face and online
  • Have experience in delivering teacher training programmes, with a focus on Level 5
  • Have a strong understanding of current trends, theories, and methodologies in education and teacher development.
  • Familiarity with educational technology tools and platforms to enhance training delivery and promote digital learning experiences.
  • Show genuine enthusiasm for education, a dedication to empowering educators, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
