At Realise, we’re passionate about empowering the next generation of bus drivers. We are seeking experienced individuals to join our team as a Classroom Trainer on the Route to Success team. If you have a love for the industry, bus driver training experience, and a desire to make a real difference, we want to hear from you.
Schedule
Standard Monday‑Friday schedule (9 am‑5 pm), with occasional earlier starts. Nights and weekends remain free.
Location
You will spend the majority of your time in our depots, with occasional travel to other depots in Grimsby and Scunthorpe.
Responsibilitiies
- Have an excellent understanding of what it takes to be an outstanding driver.
- Use your experience to deliver top‑quality learning experiences.
- Manage an effective caseload of learners and enable them to achieve all aspects of their qualification.
- Put quality at the forefront of everything you do – for your learners, employers and team.
- Utilise a range of teaching methods to suit individual learner preferences.
- Lead group training sessions, both remotely and face‑to‑face.
- Subject to contract win.
Qualifications
- Significant bus driving experience.
- Valid CPC and PCV licence.
- Experience delivering training/mentoring (practical bus driver training, classroom training, CPC training, route learning, vehicle familiarisation).
- ICT literate.
- Assessment qualification (TAQA Level 3/A1/D32/33) – desirable but not essential.
- A teaching qualification (e.g., AET, PTLLS) – desirable but not essential.
- Preparation of curricula and teaching materials – desirable.
