At Realise, we’re searching for people who are passionate about transport to join us as a Trainer – and the best part is – you don’t have to have any prior training qualifications! All we ask for is experience in delivering bus driver training and a willingness to learn!
As a Bus Driver Trainer, you’ll be making a real difference to the lives of others. Working with a number of high‑profile transport organisations who are passionate about developing their employees, you’ll provide learners with the skills they need to become professional Bus Drivers. This role is working Monday to Friday, likely from 7.30am until 3.30pm, with a potential option in the future to move to 9am‑5pm.
Your key responsibilities are likely to be:
- Having an excellent understanding of what it takes to be an outstanding driver
- Using your experience to deliver top quality learning experiences
- Managing an effective caseload of learners and enabling them to achieve all aspects of their apprenticeship including end‑point assessment
- Putting quality at the forefront of everything you do – for your learners, employers and team
- Utilising a range of teaching methods to suit individual learner preferences
- Leading group training sessions, remotely and face‑to‑face

About You
- Significant bus driving experience
- Valid CPC and PCV licence
- Experience delivering training/mentoring is essential, such as practical bus driver training, classroom training, CPC Training, route learning, vehicle familiarisation
- ICT literate
- Assessment qualification (TAQA Level 3/A1/D32/33) (desirable but not essential, we will put you through this qualification)
- A teaching qualification (e.g., AET, PTLLS) (desirable but not essential, we will put you through this qualification)
- Preparation of curriculums and teaching materials (desirable)
