Summary
Fairfield Residential Homes provides specialist residential care, short-break services, outreach support, and education for children, young people, and adults with autism, learning disabilities, challenging behaviours, and complex needs. We are seeking a motivated and professional Business Administrator Apprentice to join our busy and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality administrative support.
The successful candidate will work closely with managers and staff to ensure records, communications, and compliance documentation are maintained efficiently and accurately. As well as Β£27,000.00 p.a.

Location: (2 Sites)
Ashley Office (WA15) β 1 day per week
Partington Office (M31 4NL) β 4 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support across the organisation.
- Answer and direct telephone calls, emails, and enquiries.
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper records.
- Support staff recruitment, onboarding, and training administration.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and meeting minutes.
- Assist with compliance and audit documentation.
- Manage filing systems and office supplies.
- Support managers with scheduling, appointments, and data management.
- Ensure confidentiality and data protection standards are always maintained
Salary: Competitive hourly rate (to be agreed)

Working Week
Monday to Friday- 9am till 5pm
Qualifications Required
Grade 4 and above in English & Maths - essential

- Good Telephone manner
- Well mannered when dealing with customers
- Self motivated the ability to work without direct supervision and complete tasks set

Training to be Provided
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Business Administrator Level 3 apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
- Business Administrator L3 Apprenticeship Standard
- Functional skills in Maths and English if required
This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.
Future Prospects
There is the opportunity for the candidate to become permanent member of the team once a probation period is completed
