The Childcare Academy is seeking a Level 3 Apprentice to join their dedicated team. Their mission is to provide every child with a safe, secure, stimulating, and engaging environment where they can thrive and reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of purposeful play activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Promote children's development in numeracy, literacy, and language.
- Ensure the welfare and safety of all children and report safeguarding concerns.
- Work closely with parents, colleagues, and external agencies to meet individual needs.
- Support children in making healthy life choices.
- Act as a key person for one or more children.
- Maintain developmental records.
- Actively pursue professional development throughout your apprenticeship and beyond.

Training to be Provided
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day. You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
- Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
- Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.
