The predicted salary is between 33075 - 40425 £ per year.

Your focus will be to lead, develop, and manage a high-performing team of Trainers and Lead Trainers within the Health and Social Care sector. You will be responsible for driving quality, compliance, learner outcomes, and team performance in line with Realise’s strategic objectives. This role ensures operational effectiveness, consistent learner onboarding, and delivery excellence, contributing directly to the success of the sector and wider organisation.

Whilst we can’t promise that every day will be the same, your key responsibilities are likely to be:

  • Line manage a team of 12–14 Trainers and Lead Trainers, ensuring high-quality performance and accountability.
  • Conduct regular learner planning meetings and performance reviews with Trainers, including annual appraisals and ongoing professional development.
  • Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new team members.
  • Develop team capability through coaching, mentoring, and structured development plans.
  • Manage capacity and forecast future staffing needs to support sector growth.
  • Ensure learners are accurately onboarded, including completion of suitability checks to confirm ‘Right Learner, Right Programme’.
  • Maintain oversight of learner progress, supporting the team to meet timely achievement and retention targets.
  • Collaborate with Lead Trainers to ensure structured learner planning and consistent delivery.
  • Monitor and manage programme compliance, ensuring starts are exported by month-end and systems are up to date.
  • Work in partnership with the Quality Team to implement and respond to quality assurance actions.
  • Communicate effectively across teams, ensuring key messages and organisational updates are shared consistently.
  • Build strong working relationships with employers and external partners to support learner success.
  • Address and resolve any internal or external customer concerns in a timely, professional manner.
  • Work closely with the Head of Operations and Director to ensure business and sector objectives are achieved.

About You:

  • Experience in a leadership or management role within Further Education, ideally in the Health and Social Care sector.
  • Proven success managing and developing a team of Trainers or Assessors.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted standards and expectations.
  • Experience of supporting business or team growth through recruitment and development.
  • Strong geographical understanding of the allocated and surrounding regions.
  • Confident working with data, planning team resource, and driving performance.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change and support others through organisational development.
