The Role

Realise are building a Transport Talent Pool and we're looking to hear from experienced transport professionals across England.

Depending on your experience, qualifications and location, opportunities may become available within one of our Transport roles:

- Onboarding & Development Trainer (ODT)

- Transport Skills Trainer (TST)

- Transport Trainer (TT)

- Training & Development Officer (TDO)

Whilst each role is slightly different, all are focused on supporting learners, apprentices and employers within the passenger transport sector.

As a member of our Transport team, you could be supporting learners through their full apprenticeship journey, delivering workshops and training sessions, providing on-road coaching and mentoring, or helping learners prepare for End Point Assessment and career progression.

Whilst we can't promise that every day will be the same, your key responsibilities are likely to be:

- Supporting a caseload of learners across your region, both face-to-face and remotely

- Delivering engaging transport and passenger transport training programmes

- Coaching and mentoring learners to develop safe, professional driving and customer service skills

- Conducting learner reviews and monitoring progress

- Preparing learners for assessment, qualification achievement and career progression

- Building strong relationships with employers and key stakeholders

- Maintaining learner records and ensuring compliance requirements are met

- Providing tailored support to help every learner achieve their goals

Which role could I be considered for?

Onboarding & Development Trainer (ODT)

- Focused on apprentice inductions, onboarding, learner development and practical on-road coaching.

Transport Skills Trainer (TST)

- Focused primarily on workshop delivery, knowledge development, learner reviews and apprenticeship progress.

Transport Trainer (TT)

- Focused on delivering practical transport training and supporting learners to develop the skills required within the industry.

Training & Development Officer (TDO)

- A broader role supporting learners through the entire learner journey, from enrolment through to completion and End Point Assessment.

We welcome applications from those wanting full-time and part-time hours (3 days per week minimum).

Please note that we may not currently have a vacancy in your local area. By applying to our Talent Pool, your details will be kept on file and we will contact you should a suitable opportunity become available.

Where will I be based?

These are primarily home-based roles, with travel required within your designated region to visit learners, employers and training locations. Travel requirements will vary depending on the role and geographical area, however a significant proportion of the week may be spent travelling and delivering face-to-face support. As you will manage your own diary, you'll have flexibility in how you plan your time. This will be discussed further during the recruitment process.
