The predicted salary is between 27000 - 30000 £ per year.
Working predominantly remotely, you will have a passion for training and mentoring others to help them reach their full potential. With some visits being face to face, you will be expected to build great working relationships with your apprentices and help them complete their qualifications in a timely manner.
Your key responsibilities are likely to be:
- Manage a caseload of 40 apprentices and Adult Skills short course learners across the region
- Deliver a range of Health and Social Care qualifications (potentially up to level 5)
- Tailor the appropriate solution for the learner, ensuring they have a positive experience and develop their interest and confidence in Health and Social Care making a real impact on the people in their care
- Use e-portfolio system to manage the learner journey
- Link training needs to those determined by curriculum, industry and Sector norms and developments
- Have great organisation and planning skills to ensure that activities are planned properly, and records/paperwork completed to deadlines
- Be able to travel to visit learners and work locations when required
- Have flexibility and willingness to vary and change work schedule working both onsite and remotely
The Salary:
- If you are a Trainee with no teaching or assessing qualifications - £27,000
- If you are a qualified Trainer and can deliver Level 3 - £28,000
- If you are a qualified Trainer and can deliver Level 5 - £30,000
South Weighting:

About You:
- You have sufficient occupational competency/work experience of working in a leadership role in Health & Social Care - essential
- You have an assessing qualification (e.g., D32/33, A1, TAQA, CAVA) - advantageous
- You may also have a teaching qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, QTS, PGCE) - advantageous
- You have experience of delivering some form of training or mentoring in your role
