- Providing a blend of practical, workshop-based and classroom learning

- Supporting a regional caseload of learners face-to-face

- Guiding learners through accredited industry qualifications and apprenticeships

- Preparing learners for End Point Assessment (EPA)

- Using our digital systems (including e-portfolio platforms) to track learner progress

- Working collaboratively with curriculum and admin teams

- Keeping up to date with developments in gas, utilities and renewable technologies

What we’re looking for

We’re open to hearing from:

Qualified Trainers / Trainer Assessors

- Level 3 (or above) teaching qualification (e.g., AET, CET, DET, PGCE) – desirable

- Assessor qualification (e.g., TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33) – desirable

- Strong occupational experience in gas, plumbing & heating, utilities or renewables

- Relevant industry certifications such as:

- Gas: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1

- Renewables: BPEC or LCL Awards in Air Source Heat Pumps

- Plumbing/Heating: NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent

- Electrical: 18th Edition or equivalent

- Confident communicator with the ability to motivate and support learners

- Comfortable managing your own caseload and using digital systems

Trainee Trainers

If you’re an experienced engineer looking to move off the tools, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll need:

- Strong, proven industry experience in gas, plumbing & heating, utilities, electrical or renewables

- A willingness to work towards teaching/assessing qualifications (fully supported)

- Passion for developing learners and sharing your industry knowledge

- Full training and structured development pathways are provided.

Salary and benefits

- Competitive salary plus bonus (dependent on experience and qualifications)

- 37.5 hours per week (typically Monday to Friday)

- Career progression and development opportunities

- Supportive and collaborative team culture

- Modern, well-equipped training facilities

- Opportunity to make a lasting impact on apprentices entering our industry

As part of the Realise Training Group, you’ll also benefit from:
