We have an exciting opportunity for an Events Specialist to join our Early Years team. Working closely with the Early Years Marketing Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality events that support employer engagement, learner attraction, brand awareness and business growth. You'll take ownership of the operational delivery of our events programme, ensuring every event is well planned, professionally executed and delivers measurable results.
This is a hands-on role where you'll manage everything from event logistics and supplier coordination to budgets, inventory and reporting. You'll ensure our teams have everything they need to deliver successful events while continually identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and maximise impact. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate the delivery of in-person, online and hybrid events across the UK.
- Manage event logistics, including venues, equipment, merchandise, print, transport and suppliers.
- Create event plans, timelines and run sheets to ensure smooth delivery.
- Support event setup, delivery and breakdown, implementing contingency plans where required.
- Coordinate webinars and virtual events, including promotion and follow-up activity.
- Manage event inventory, stock levels and ordering to ensure resources are always available.
- Raise purchase orders and monitor event budgets, ensuring spend is controlled and accurately recorded.
- Track event performance, including attendance, engagement, leads and return on investment, producing post-event reports and recommendations.
- Work closely with marketing, sales, finance and operational teams to deliver successful campaigns and events.
- Ensure all event activity complies with relevant health and safety, risk and organisational requirements.
About You:
- At least three years' experience delivering events and supporting marketing activity.
- Proven experience managing event logistics from planning through to delivery.
- Experience managing suppliers, inventory, budgets and purchase orders.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft 365 and digital collaboration tools.
- Experience using data and technology to improve decision making and event performance.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle for travel to events and our Sheffield office.
Desirable:
- Experience using HubSpot or another CRM.
- Experience with Monday.com or similar project management software.
- Design skills using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
