About the Company
Every live moment that passes is another room full of the highest-intent fans in the world that artist teams have to find all over again. Most companies talk about fixing this. This one is actually doing it. A venture-backed music tech business — built by people who've run 300+ tours from the inside — has developed a platform that helps artist teams and labels activate their fan base around live moments. Pre-sale access, event comms, post-show drops, memberships, merch. Everything that turns a one-night audience into a long-term relationship. They're working with major labels, independent labels and some of the biggest management companies globally. The product is proven. The partnerships are in place. Now they're building the team to scale it.
The Role
This is an account management and growth role at its core - you'll inherit a portfolio of major label partnerships from day one and be trusted to deepen them. Understanding the business challenges on each account, identifying where the product creates genuine value, and making that case clearly and confidently without someone senior in the room beside you. The MD oversees commercial and has the c-suite relationships locked in. What's needed now is someone who can operate a level below that with real authority - present, persuasive, and fluent enough in the product and the industry to represent the business credibly at any level. There's also a wider remit: spotting new opportunities within existing accounts, collaborating with product and marketing on how the offering evolves, and contributing to building out the commercial function as the business scales toward Series A.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and grow a portfolio of major label and management company partnerships, deepening relationships and identifying where the platform creates genuine value
- Be the trusted presence in the room across partner meetings, artist activations and events — confident representing the business without someone senior beside you
- Translate platform capabilities into compelling, commercially relevant narratives for Heads of Audience, Digital and Marketing teams
- Work cross-functionally with product and marketing to develop the offering based on what partners actually need
- Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and contribute to unlocking new partnerships alongside the wider team
- Support delivery of activations end-to-end, ensuring partners get maximum value from the platform
- Contribute to building out the commercial function as the business scales toward Series A
Skills & Experience
- Experience in the music industry or adjacent, with genuine commercial experience — account growth, partnerships, or a role where you had to make a case and close it
- Relationships across labels and management, and a real understanding of how those organisations work from the inside
- Comfortable selling to and working with senior stakeholders across digital, audience and marketing functions
- Strong commercial acumen, skilled at deepening existing relationships and spotting the next opportunity within them
- Detail-oriented and delivery-focused, because this role is as much about execution as it is about growth
- Confident, credible and persuasive in person, on calls and at events
- A music fan at heart — it matters to the team and it comes through in the work
- Live industry background is a genuine advantage. Agency-side experience — the pace, the client management, the need to hustle — is also valued.
