We are seeking a Strategy Director who can take ownership of the strategic function and elevate the agency’s creative output. This is a senior, hands-on position for a confident, ambitious strategist who has a background in integrated creative strategy - not limited to traditional advertising but extending to content, social media, experiential, and earned media.
The ideal candidate will lead the strategic direction of client campaigns, creating strong strategic foundations that inform and drive creative execution. They’ll be expected to take ownership of briefs, offering insights that lead to innovative solutions and building compelling narratives that excite clients and inspire the internal team.
This is a leadership role within the agency, where the Strategy Director will have the autonomy to shape the strategic direction of client work, whilst also being involved in the hands-on execution of key campaigns. They will be responsible for managing relationships with senior clients, collaborating with internal teams, leading pitches, and ensuring the agency’s strategic output aligns with its creative vision.
What will you be doing?
- Strategic Leadership: Take full ownership of the agency’s strategic direction, driving creative and business solutions across integrated campaigns.
- Client Relationships: Manage and nurture key relationships with senior clients, collaborating closely with client leadership and creative teams to align on strategy and objectives.
- Campaign Strategy: Develop creative strategic platforms for client campaigns across content, social media, experiential, earned media, and partnerships.
- Pitch Leadership: Lead the strategic development of pitches, ensuring creative briefs are compelling and strategically sound.
- Insight Generation: Use a blend of qualitative and quantitative data to extract key insights, informing creative strategy and campaign execution.
- Thought Leadership: Contribute to the agency’s growth by establishing a strong strategic presence both within the agency and the broader industry, including engaging in thought leadership initiatives.
