The Opportunity
We’re working with a highly awarded, creatively-led PR agency to find a Senior Strategist to strengthen its consumer strategy capability. This is a hands-on role for a strategist who understands how brands earn attention today - through culturally relevant thinking, strong narratives and creative ideas designed to travel across earned media, content, social and real-world experiences. You’ll work closely with account leaders, creatives and clients to shape the strategic foundations of integrated campaigns across FMCG, lifestyle, tech, travel and other consumer sectors.
The Role
As Senior Strategist, you’ll take briefs from initial problem to clear, compelling strategic direction - uncovering insight, framing the challenge and helping unlock creative ideas that cut through. You’ll be closely involved in both campaign and pitch work, helping ensure every idea is rooted in strong thinking, cultural relevance and a clear understanding of consumer behaviour. This is not a pure planning role or a department head position - it’s about being in the work, elevating it, and making it sharper, braver and more effective.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop earned-first creative strategies for consumer brands across multiple sectors
- Translate insight into clear strategic platforms, narratives and creative briefs
- Lead strategic thinking across integrated campaigns spanning PR, content, social, experiential and partnerships
- Use cultural, behavioural and data-led insight to inform ideas that resonate emotionally and commercially
- Collaborate closely with creative and account teams to shape campaign direction and execution
- Play a key role in pitch strategy, from framing the problem to articulating the creative approach
- Present strategy confidently to clients, helping guide and challenge thinking where appropriate
- Contribute to the agency’s strategic voice through internal inspiration and thought leadership

- An experienced Senior Strategist (or strong Strategist ready to step up) from a PR, creative or integrated agency environment
- Deeply interested in consumer culture, behaviour and how brands stay relevant in today’s landscape
- Experienced working across earned media, PR, social, content and experiential - not limited to traditional advertising models
- Strong at turning insight into ideas and ideas into compelling stories
- Confident and credible in client-facing situations
- Collaborative, curious and motivated by improving the quality of creative output
