The Role:

An opportunity to step into a PR Director role and lead the charge on high-profile sports campaigns. If you’re a senior PR professional with an impressive track record in developing stand-out integrated PR led creative campaigns, a passion for sports, and a knack for strategic thinking, we\’d like to speak to you.

You’ll play a critical role in shaping and executing PR strategies for renowned sports clients, leading from the front with big, bold ideas and overseeing their seamless delivery across earned media, partnerships, events, influencer activations, and more.

You’ll manage a talented, dynamic team, driving creative thinking and delivering campaigns that make waves in the sports industry. Your expertise will elevate the agency’s sports offering and ensure every campaign aligns with client objectives, exceeding expectations and delivering measurable results.

As a key player in the agency, you’ll have a seat at the leadership table, working closely with senior team members, pitching new business, developing client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the agency.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Strategy: Take ownership of the strategic direction for high-profile sports clients, creating bold, multifaceted PR campaigns that capture attention and achieve client objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and develop your team, ensuring they’re motivated, challenged, and supported in their growth. You’ll empower your team to bring their best ideas to life while driving results.
  • Client Relations: Build strong relationships with key clients, providing expert counsel, managing expectations, and ensuring that all campaigns exceed client goals.
  • Media & Partnerships: Work with key media contacts, influencers, and partners to secure coverage and grow the clients\’ presence in the sports world. Ensure that all media and influencer strategies are effectively executed.
  • Creative Execution: Collaborate closely with the strategy and creative teams to develop innovative and integrated campaigns across various platforms, ensuring all work is delivered to the highest standard.
  • New Business & Pitches: Lead pitches and contribute to the agency’s growth by identifying new business opportunities within the sports sector.
  • Campaign Oversight: Oversee campaign delivery from start to finish, ensuring everything runs smoothly, on time, and on budget. Evaluate success, manage reporting, and optimise strategies for future campaigns.
  • Industry Leadership: Keep ahead of industry trends and news, ensuring the agency and clients stay relevant and at the forefront of the sports PR world.
