The Company
A leading ERP Partner, specialising in providing business management software solutions across the UK and Europe. With a global customer base that includes household names, they are experts in delivering innovative IT services coupled with advanced cloud-based software solutions. They excel in ERP implementations and ongoing managed services with major vendors, supporting ISV partners, and developing their own emerging software IP. With over twenty years in the industry, they bring a wealth of experience to the table. Their portfolio spans various sectors, including discrete manufacturing, wholesale distribution, professional services, and retail, amongst others.
The Role
As the lead for the Marketing function, you’ll be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to generate demand to drive the company’s future growth. You will work closely with leadership and business development teams to oversee the planning and execution of campaigns, events, and thought-leadership opportunities. Your role will also involve monitoring performance through data, producing valuable online content, and conducting market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities. Additionally, you’ll manage budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and act as the organisation’s representative to build strategic partnerships with external stakeholders and media. The role will provide periodic exposure at board level to report on plans and progress.
Skills and Experience
- A multi-faceted, knowledgeable and proactive marketer with experience in customer acquisition from engagement to retention in a services business.
- Analytical in nature, you enjoy working with a focus on the sales funnel with growth objectives.
- You’ve managed the marketing function for a similar business (tech services), working closely with leadership to define goals, creating relevant marketing strategies and delivering intelligent, effective marketing campaigns to promote the company.
- You have strong knowledge of IT Services.
- You are able to see opportunities and issues in current processes, tools and teams and fix them proactively.
