A leading, global, customer intelligence agency that provides data-driven solutions to help the world’s best marketers better understand their customers and drive business growth. For over 50 years, they have been a leader in customer data management, identity, and the ethical use of data. They assist thousands of clients and partners worldwide in creating millions of better customer experiences every day. Their mission is to empower marketers with the insights they need to create impactful customer experiences and achieve measurable business results.

As Head of Business Development, you will take ownership of revenue growth, leading sales efforts with a focus on strategic new business development and high-value enterprise solutions. This is a hands-on, commercially driven leadership role, requiring a deep understanding of the martech and data ecosystem to engage C-suite stakeholders effectively. You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle - from marketing and PR-driven lead generation to closing complex deals. Success in this role requires a consultative approach, selling integrated solutions rather than isolated projects, and positioning the company as a long-term strategic partner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a high-growth sales strategy to drive revenue beyond £10m annually.
  • Own the sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships, particularly within the C-suite, to drive long-term value.
  • Sell comprehensive martech and customer intelligence solutions, ensuring a strategic, rather than modular, sales approach.
  • Represent the company across the EMEA martech and partner ecosystem, building credibility and driving strategic alliances.
  • Lead new business development, identifying and converting high-value opportunities within enterprise accounts.
  • Work closely with internal teams to craft compelling, data-driven solutions that deliver measurable impact.
  • Position the company as a thought leader in the customer intelligence and martech space through networking, events, and content-driven outreach.
Skills and Experience Required

To excel in this role, you will have:

  • Enterprise sales leadership experience – Proven track record in martech, customer intelligence, or a related consultancy environment.
  • Consultative selling expertise – Experience in selling strategic martech consulting services, rather than just SaaS products, ensuring tailored solutions that drive business transformation.
  • C-suite engagement – Ability to navigate complex sales cycles, positioning the company as a long-term strategic partner to senior stakeholders.
  • New business development skills – Strong ability to identify, nurture, and close high-value opportunities within enterprise accounts.
  • Revenue growth acumen – Comfortable driving aggressive revenue targets and managing multi-stakeholder decision-making processes.
  • Martech and data knowledge – Deep understanding of marketing technology, customer intelligence, and platforms like Salesforce, with a focus on how they integrate into broader business strategies.
  • Commercial mindset – Skilled at balancing quick-win opportunities with long-term client relationships and strategic growth.
  • Client-first approach – Adept at uncovering business challenges and delivering high-impact, bespoke martech solutions.
Behaviours and Values
  • Strategic and decisive – Brings clarity and conviction to decision-making.
  • Growth-oriented – Passionate about driving meaningful, scalable expansion in enterprise accounts.
  • Collaborative yet independent – A team player who can confidently lead initiatives.
  • Resilient and adaptable – Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
  • Customer-centric – Deeply attuned to client needs, ensuring solutions deliver real business impact.
