We are recruiting for an excellent Supervisor / Manager role within Fire & Security, which requires someone to manage and lead an engineering team who install and service Security Alarms, CCTV and Fire systems. Someone with related managerial or leadership experience within the industry would be highly desired, although we may also consider very experienced security engineers who are now looking to take the next step in their career.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with related experience to join a progressive and highly regarded company that works on both commercial and domestic properties primarily in Central Scotland. You will need to have exceptional communication and people skills as you will be involved in the training and management of engineers and will be supervising and supporting colleagues at all levels.
You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day engineering jobs as well as helping with the overall day-to-day running of the business. The role will also involve site surveys and project managing jobs from initial design through to handover and commissioning.
You must be:
- Ambitious with a real passion to progress, and you will be expected to deliver a high level of accurate and quality work with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experienced across multiple fire & security products and disciplines.
- Good and competent with electrical wiring and should also have an understanding of electronics.
- Excellent knowledge of Security Systems.
- Able to adapt engineering solutions to installation issues / complex service calls.
- Able to lead and motivate the team.
- Familiar with Health & Safety legislations.
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic, and have a can-do attitude to get jobs completed to a high standard.
