Realise HR is recruiting an ambitious and experienced Recruitment Consultant to support the continued growth of our recruitment offering across the North East. This is not your typical consultant role. You will be part of a wider multi-award winning consultancy focusing on HR, Recruitment and Training services to our clients. We operate as a team, with divisional and team targets. You will have the chance to build your own desk and strategy.
This role is for someone entrepreneurial, who loves to check in with their network, partner with great businesses and build a revenue stream that you can be proud of.
Base salary: Up to £45k
Commission: up to 20%

This role is focused on building meaningful partnerships with organisations, identifying future hiring needs and delivering tailored recruitment strategies that support sustainable business performance. You will play a key role in strengthening our regional footprint by developing new opportunities, expanding talent networks and enhancing our visibility in the professional market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage recruitment campaigns from initial client engagement through to successful placement.
- Identify and secure new recruitment opportunities through proactive business development activity.
- Develop strategic relationships with clients.
- Conduct targeted sourcing, market mapping and headhunting to build strong candidate pipelines.
- Deliver market insight and recruitment intelligence to support client decision-making.
- Maintain an active presence at networking events and professional forums.
- Support delivery of webinars, roundtables and talent insight events.
- Build strong social media visibility to promote opportunities and strengthen brand awareness.
- Collaborate with marketing and HR consultancy teams to deliver joined-up client solutions.
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Recruitment or sales experience within a professional services or consultancy environment.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence hiring decisions.
- Confidence in business development and opportunity generation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capability.
- Commercial awareness and solution-focused mindset.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a growth mindset.
Desirable:
- Experience supporting regional market growth.
- Confidence presenting to clients or facilitating discussions.
