We are seeking an enthusiastic and versatile Teacher of Design Technology & Food Technology to join a successful and supportive secondary school in Redbridge from September 2026 on a 1-year fixed term contract. The successful candidate must be able to teach Food Technology up to GCSE level and demonstrate flexibility across the wider DT curriculum. There is potential for this role to become full-time for candidates able to teach an additional subject.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Be confident teaching Food Technology up to GCSE
  • Have the ability to teach across DT and Food Technology
  • Ideally be trained in the UK, or alternatively have at least two years’ teaching experience within UK schools
  • Ideally not be an Early Career Teacher (ECT)
