If the answer is ‘Yes’ then this may be the role for you. We are working with an amazing school based in London who are looking for a passionate teaching assistant to join their team on long-term placement starting in February.
The teaching assistant will be responsible for helping teachers prepare lesson materials, work with students who may require SEN and make sure pupils understand the lesson material to the best of their ability. The school is pupil centric with a focus on personal responsibility and resilience ensuring that each pupil is determined to never give up regardless of setbacks, whilst displaying exceptional skills in kindness and inclusion.
Responsibilities- Working with students within the mathematics and science sector
- Helping students with special educational needs
- Being passionate about helping students excel and displaying kindness and patience throughout
- Engaging with teachers to ensure that you can positively impact the classroom
- Demonstrating a duty of care in each classroom
- Supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis
- Enhanced DBS certification
- Experience working with children (SEN experience is preferred but not required)
- Right to work in the UK
- Passionate about helping children become the best version of themselves they can be!
- Strong mathematical knowledge and an understanding of the teaching of science
