We are seeking a dedicated, resilient, and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant & Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming secondary school in Tottenham. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome barriers to learning and achievement. The successful candidate will work closely with students who require additional academic, social, emotional, or behavioural support, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment across the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Support pupils with behavioural, emotional, and social needs both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Build positive relationships with students to encourage engagement, attendance, and academic progress.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies in line with the school's policies.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, pastoral teams, and external agencies.
  • Support students with SEND, SEMH needs, or those at risk of exclusion.
