Realise Education are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work with students with Autism in schools across North London. Successful candidates don't need to have previous experience of working with SEN students but a willingness to support students with additional needs and want to get involved in every aspect of the school.
Responsibilities:
- Assess individual learning needs and work on a group.
- Prepare materials, equipment and lessons.
- Assess and report on individual pupils' progress.
- Assist with the personal care needs of pupils.
- Liaise with parents, carers and professionals such as mainstream teachers, education welfare officers, social workers and healthcare professionals.
- Work alongside and advise learning support assistants.
