We are looking for a commercially-minded Merchandising Manager to lead range planning, stock management and trading performance across the business. This is a hands-on role with end-to-end responsibility, ideal for someone who wants to step into a high-impact position within a growing brand. You will operate as the commercial link between Design, Sales, and Operations, ensuring that what we design, buy, and sell delivers strong financial performance.
Reporting directly to the Global Managing Director, you will play a central role in driving revenue, margin, and stock efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Range Planning
- Partner with Design & Production to define range structure, category mix, price architecture and ladders
- Ensure ranges hit target price points and margins and are commercially balanced and scalable
- Identify gaps and opportunities based on performance and market insights
- Ensure a balanced assortment across categories, price points, and hero products
- Identify bestselling shapes, colours, and prints to inform repeat buys
- Stock Planning & Allocation
- Lead seasonal and in-season stock planning across channels
- Build and manage demand forecasts by channel, region, and product category
- Allocate stock strategically to maximise sell-through and minimise markdown risk
- Manage inventory across channels based on real-time trading performance
- Trading & Performance Analysis
- Monitor weekly trading reports, identifying risks and opportunities
- Analyse sales, sell-through, stock cover and customer demand to inform replenishment and future buys
- Develop clear recommendations to improve performance, including reorders, transfers, and markdown strategies
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership, ensuring alignment and buy-in on key trading actions across teams
- Pricing & Promotions
- Lead on pricing strategy across the range, in collaboration with Design & Production and Sales teams
- Support the Design & Production team to set initial pricing aligned to margin targets, brand positioning and competitive benchmarks
- Propose and plan promotional activity and markdown strategies with Sales team and leadership
- Continuously optimise pricing based on performance and stock position
- Market Research & Commercial Insight
- Conduct ongoing competitor and market analysis on pricing, range structure and promotional activity
- Monitor customer behaviour and trends, and translate insights into range recommendations, pricing adjustments and commercial opportunities
- Share insights proactively to inform and influence cross-functional decision-making
- 5–8+ years experience in merchandising or planning within fashion or retail
- Strong experience in range planning, forecasting and stock management, and trading analysis across multiple channels
- Highly analytical with advanced Excel skills and a data-driven mindset
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of global markets
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and translate data into clear commercial recommendations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- A sharp commercial instinct paired with rigorous analysis
- Confidence in making recommendations that impact revenue and margin
- Ability to communicate clearly and bring others along with decisions
