Duties and Responsibilities
Therole of a management consultant is varied. Typical activities, undertaken as part of a team,include:
- Carry outstrategic and / or technology diagnostics ofclients’real estate operating platform
- DevelopReal Estate-relatedstrategicinitiativesat an organisational, operational and IT level
- Define and gather requirements forand support the selection ofReal Estatesoftware solutions
- Plan andimplement software solutions andtheassociatedbusinessprocess changes.
- Request for Proposal (RFP) development and analysis
Essential Job Functions
- Work with recognisedReal Estate Corporate functions,RealEstateInvestmentsTrusts, Institutional Investors, Owner/Occupiers, etc. in varying industry segments including office, retail,PRS,student housingandindustrial/logistics.
- Undertake diagnostic analysis from a Real Estate operational process and IT effectiveness view.
- Perform Real Estate-relatedstrategic planning at organisational, operational and IT levels.
- Suggest and implementReal Estate-related leading practices and process improvements.
- DefineReal Estaterequirements for software solutions.
- ImplementReal Estatesoftware solutions and associated process changes.
Requirements
- 8 – 10 years+ of real estate industry and/or consulting experience.
- Operational experience in investment management;residential or commercial
- Experience working with real estate ERP system(s) such as Yardi or MRI
- Experience in property or fund accounting
- Advanced analytical capabilities such as Power Query and SQL
- Bachelor-or Master-level qualifications in a relevant discipline from arecognisedacademic institution (ideally 2:1 or above)
- Must be open to some travel (to be discussed during the interview process)
- Must possess effective communication skills(both written and verbal)
- Excellent written and spoken English; foreign (especially European) languagesarea plus.
- Capabilities in the Microsoft Toolset (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
