Employment Type

Full-time realbuzz is the home of charity running.

For more than 20 years, we've connected charities with runners and the events they want to be part of — from 10Ks to some of the world's biggest marathons.

As the world's leading provider of charity running programmes, we've helped facilitate more than £1bn in fundraising for our charity partners.

Our mission is to make charity running more accessible worldwide, so more people can make their miles mean more.

The opportunity

We're looking for a commercially minded Affiliate & Partnerships Manager to help build and grow a brand-new CPA-based rewards programme for our community of runners.

This is much more than a traditional affiliate account management role.

You'll have the opportunity to help build a new revenue stream from the ground up — recruiting affiliate partners, developing exclusive offers, driving tenancy revenue and creating wider commercial and sponsorship opportunities with brands across running, fitness, health and active lifestyle.

You'll be joining a growing organisation where you'll have genuine scope to shape the proposition and how it develops.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Build and manage a CPA-based affiliate rewards programme aimed at runners and active lifestyle consumers.
  • Identify, recruit and develop relationships with relevant affiliate and commercial partners.
  • Develop strategies to maximise affiliate performance and ROI.
  • Negotiate compelling and exclusive offers for the realbuzz community.
  • Identify and develop tenancy and other monetisation opportunities across realbuzz's website, marketing channels and event partner inventory.
  • Work with the wider marketing team to develop sponsorship propositions.
  • Support sponsorship acquisition, including pitching and securing partnerships with relevant brands.
  • Monitor, analyse and report on affiliate and partnership performance. Keep on top of developments in affiliate marketing, performance marketing and relevant technology.
  • Attend selected realbuzz event activations, which may occasionally involve international travel.

About you

You'll ideally have

  • 3+ years' experience in affiliate marketing, ideally within a publisher, agency or affiliate network.
  • Strong commercial instincts and an appetite for developing new revenue opportunities.
  • Experience building and managing relationships with advertisers, publishers or commercial partners.
  • Knowledge of affiliate platforms and tracking technologies such as Impact, Partnerize or Awin.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • The confidence to work autonomously and turn ideas into commercial activity.

An interest in running, fitness or the active lifestyle sector would be a major advantage.

Why join realbuzz?

Alongside the opportunity to help shape an exciting new commercial proposition, benefits include:

  • Hybrid working from our Manchester Piccadilly office.
  • 22 days' holiday, plus your birthday and bank holidays.
  • Additional holiday opportunities through attendance and length of service schemes.
  • Company stakeholder pension scheme.
  • Group Life Assurance and Group Income Protection after the qualifying period.

If you're an affiliate marketer who likes the idea of building something rather than simply inheriting an existing programme, we'd love to hear from you.

realbuzz is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
