Requirements
- We need strong Application Security / App Sec experience.
- We need threat modelling experience.
- We need experience with SBOM, software composition analysis, and CVE analysis.
- We need experience with Secure SDLC / SSDLC practices.
- We need experience in vulnerability assessment, remediation, and technical documentation.
- Experience with regulated software, medical device software, embedded software, or non-connected products is desirable.
- Knowledge of OWASP, NIST, secure coding standards, QMS, FDA, MDR, SRTM, or product security documentation is desirable.
Responsibilities
- We work with R&D, Quality, software, systems, and security teams to embed secure-by-design practices across the product development lifecycle.
- We focus on application security for regulated medical device software.
- We own threat modelling, SBOM, software composition analysis, and CVE review.
- We define and support secure coding and security requirements.
- We help identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities.
- We produce and maintain product security documentation.
- We partner with engineering teams to review software risks and strengthen secure SDLC practices across new and existing products.

We are a global medical device company offering a contract opportunity for a Product Security Engineer / Application Security Specialist based in Limerick, with 2 days per week onsite.
