A global medical device company is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer / Mechanical Systems Engineer to support on a 6-month contract basis, starting as soon as possible. You'll work with a multi-disciplinary engineering team to support the design, integration, and verification of complex electro-mechanical medical device systems.
The role will cover system architecture, mechanical engineering support, hardware/software/fluidics integration, design verification and validation, risk management, design reviews, and technical documentation within a regulated environment.
Essential Skills- Medical device product development experience
- Systems engineering or mechanical engineering experience
- Electro-mechanical systems experience
- Design verification and validation / V&V experience
- Design controls, risk management, and technical documentation experience
- Experience with drug delivery systems, fluidics, embedded software, or complex electro-mechanical medical devices
- Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 60601, IEC 62304, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, DOORS, Jama, or human factors engineering
