A global medical device company are looking for a Senior R&D Engineer to join their research & development team on a contract basis. The purpose of the role is to help with their product testing, design of experiments and TMV, test protocols, for a selection of products. For this role you will need experience having worked with syringe / pre-filled syringes / PFS type products.
Responsibilities
- Test Method Validations (TMV)
- Design, prototyping, test design, reviews, evaluations, V&V and protocols
- Design of experiments (DOE)
- Risk analysis & management
- Process development
Requirements
- Mechanical engineering, Material Science, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent degree
- Experience working as a R&D Engineer on medical device products
- Minimum 5 years experience
- Experience working with syringe products / PFS / Pre filled syringes, ISO 80369 / 11040
- Understanding regulatory requirements
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
The start date is for ASAP/October. The initial contract length is for 12 months, with multiple extension options after. The role is based in Limerick and will require 3 days onsite per week, the rest of the work can be done remotely. The rate is between β¬40 - β¬55 per hour depending on experience.
