We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to support the delivery of commercial construction projects, including fire remediation and façade recladding works. This role will play a key part in ensuring robust quality systems are implemented across projects, with a strong focus on compliance, defect prevention and consistent standards from design through to handover. The position can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis, and is open to contract or permanent engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and manage quality management systems in line with ISO 9001, project and client requirements
- Prepare, review and maintain project quality plans, ITPs, procedures and records
- Review drawings, specifications and method statements for compliance and buildability
- Oversee inspections, testing and quality assurance activities across live commercial sites
- Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Carry out internal audits and quality reviews across projects
- Work closely with project teams, subcontractors and suppliers to drive consistent quality standards
- Support project completion, handover documentation, certification and quality close-out
About You
- Proven experience in a Quality Assurance / Quality Manager / Quality Lead role within commercial construction
- Experience with fire remediation, façade, cladding or refurbishment projects is highly desirable
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and construction quality systems
- Confident communicator with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
- Detail oriented and organised, with strong documentation skills
