A global medical device company are looking for a Senior Electrical Technician to join their Engineering team on a contract basis. The purpose of the role is to deliver on instrumentation, centred around developing, building, and improving prototypes in a highly hands-on, fast-moving and dynamic troubleshooting environment, carrying out senior-level electrical work, while working alongside senior electrical engineers and operating with general direction rather than detailed instruction.

Essential skills:

  • Hands on prototyping and troubleshooting
  • Experience of lab equipment and diagnostic tools
  • Senior electrical technician experience

Desirable skills:

  • Medical device or similar
  • Experience with Piezo electricity

The start date is ASAP. The initial contract is for 6 months, with multiple extension options. The role is based in Galway and will require 4-5 days onsite per week. The rate is €40-50 per hour, depending on experience.
