Experienced ServiceNow Lead Architect required to own the end-to-end architectural design, implementation, and governance of the ServiceNow platform. This role will lead solution design across multiple ServiceNow modules, ensure best practices and platform scalability, and guide teams through complex implementations, including domain separation and CMDB/CSDM alignment. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and hands-on experience with both locally hosted and cloud-based ServiceNow environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Lead Architect for ServiceNow platform design, strategy, and roadmap
- Design and implement scalable, secure ServiceNow solutions across enterprise environments
- Lead architecture and solution design for ServiceNow modules including: IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Common Service Data Model (CSDM)
- Define and enforce ServiceNow best practices, architectural standards, and governance models
- Design and implement Domain Separation for large, multi-tenant or multi-business unit environments
- Own CMDB architecture and ensure alignment with CSDM standards
- Lead and review ServiceNow implementations, upgrades, and integrations
- Provide architectural leadership and mentorship to developers, administrators, and implementation teams
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure platform performance, security, availability, and maintainability
- Support both locally hosted (on-premise) and cloud-based ServiceNow deployments
- Act as the escalation point for complex technical and design challenges
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of ServiceNow experience
- Strong hands-on experience with: ITSM, ITOM, CSDM and CMDB design
- Proven experience designing and implementing Domain Separation
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale ServiceNow implementations
- Experience with both on-premise (locally hosted) and cloud-based ServiceNow environments
- Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, data model, and integration patterns
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
