A leading financial services technology programme is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer (Data) to join a newly formed agile team working on a cloud-based securities processing platform used by global institutions. This role focuses on data integration, migration and modernisation, connecting cloud platforms with complex legacy systems.

The PTP Platform is a leading-edge, cloud-based Securities Processing solution that provides trade lifecycle processing for a wide range of global financial institutions. We are looking for a full-stack developer to join a new team within our PTP software platform. The candidate will work on strategic initiatives to develop integration and data migration strategies and tools to allow highly automated migration or integration between the PTP platform and legacy internal and external systems.

The candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be sharp and well-motivated and enjoy working in a flexible, agile environment. Strong experience in data analysis and migration approaches alongside well-developed technical skills with migration tools is expected.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Full-stack development with input into architecture and design.
  • Build data integration and migration tooling and strategies.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, users and established development teams.
  • Deliver high-quality, production-ready code in an agile environment.
  • Participate in code reviews and engineering best practice.
  • Apply AI / ML techniques where appropriate.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years experience in full-stack development or data integration/migration.
  • Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React and Python.
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in agile / continuous delivery environments.
  • Ability to work proactively with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
Desirable Skills:
  • Financial services / capital markets experience.
  • Knowledge of trade lifecycle processing.
  • ETL and data warehouse experience.
  • Docker and Kubernetes exposure.
  • Distributed systems experience (Kafka, microservices, event streaming).
