Join REAL Success as a Head of Operations Full-time, Monday to Friday, Hybrid Working £38,000 - £50,000 per annum DOE. Additional holiday, expenses and company pension. Home-based with some travel, including to our Solihull Office.

Our unique training and support programmes are helping farms become employers of choice and transforming how people are led, supported, and developed in UK agriculture.
We are now looking for an experienced, driven, and highly organised Head of Operations to play a pivotal role in leading our day-to-day operations, supporting business growth, and ensuring exceptional service delivery across our clients, partners, and team.
The Role
- Overseeing daily business operations, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and continuous improvement across all areas.
- Supporting the Managing Director with strategic planning, reporting, and business development initiatives.
- Leading and managing the internal team, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff development.
- Overseeing and supporting all REAL Success Partners, ensuring strong relationships and high standards of delivery.
- Working closely with the Finance & Operations Manager to maintain oversight of cash flow, budgets, and financial performance.
- Reviewing profit & loss performance and contributing to forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
- Overseeing key accounts alongside the Key Account Manager, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Supporting contract pricing, proposals, and commercial decision-making.
- Providing HR guidance and support internally and to clients where required.
- Leading marketing activity, including social media, website content, and monthly newsletters.
- Organising and attending company events, including planning, logistics, and delivery.
- Contributing to business development, new service design, and identifying new income streams.
All training and inductions will be completed at our Solihull office.
Qualifications & Licenses required
- A full UK Driving license as travel to the Solihull office is required.
- Proof of UK right to work.
- GCSEs in Maths & English.
You will need:
- Proven experience in Operations or similar leadership role.
- Strong commercial and financial awareness, including budgets and P&L.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- The ability to develop systems, processes, and drive operational improvements.
- Previous experience or knowledge in basic HR.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with clients and stakeholders.
- Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a hands-on approach.
- A positive attitude and passion for delivering high-quality work.
Experience within agriculture is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.

Location
Our office is based in Solihull, West Midlands, within easy reach of the M42 motorway. Initial interviews will likely happen over Teams before attending a final interview at our Solihull office.
