An established and growing construction consultancy is looking to appoint two Consultant Quantity Surveyors and one Senior Consultant Quantity Surveyor to join its Sunderland office.
\With a strong pipeline of secured work across the North East, this is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects spanning healthcare, education, residential, commercial, leisure, infrastructure and public sector developments.
\You'll have the opportunity to see projects through from inception to completion, working closely with clients and project teams while developing your technical and commercial expertise within a collaborative and supportive environment.
The Projects
Healthcare projects ranging from GP surgery refurbishments and extensions through to major hospital developments
Higher education projects for leading universities
Commercial office and mixed-use developments
New-build residential developments
Local authority regeneration, infrastructure and public realm schemes
Leisure and community projects
\Projects are primarily located throughout the North East, with occasional opportunities to support wider regional projects where specialist expertise is required.
The Opportunities
Consultant Quantity Surveyor
This position would suit a Quantity Surveyor with consultancy, client-side or contractor experience looking to build their career within a professional consultancy environment.
\Cost planning and estimating
Contract administration
Interim valuations and final accounts
Contract and commercial advice
Site inspections and project handovers
Supporting project delivery from inception through to completion
Senior Consultant Quantity Surveyor
This role would suit an experienced consultant with a strong background delivering Quantity Surveying services across sectors such as education, healthcare, leisure, commercial or public sector projects.
\Leading commissions and managing project delivery
Providing strategic cost and commercial advice
Procurement and contract management
Employer's Agent and Contract Administrator duties
Delivering projects to cost, programme and quality objectives
About You
Consultant Quantity Surveyor
\Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
Strong commercial awareness
Experience of pre and/or post-contract services

Senior Consultant Quantity Surveyor
\Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
Strong pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying expertise
Experience managing projects independently
Hybrid working
~ Only 2 days per week required in the office
