Designated Nurse Safeguarding AdultsLondon Based ICB | 4 Days Per Week | Predominantly Remote | Contract Until March 2027The RoleAs the Designated Nurse for Safeguarding Adults, you will:Provide expert safeguarding leadership and advice across the ICB and wider systemSupport the development and implementation of safeguarding strategies and policiesWork collaboratively with local authorities, providers, NHS partners, and other key stakeholdersProvide professional oversight and assurance relating to safeguarding adults activityContribute to safeguarding quality improvement initiatives and system learningSupport statutory safeguarding requirements and governance processesEssential ExperiencePrevious experience as a Designated Nurse for Safeguarding AdultsExtensive safeguarding adults experience within NHS or commissioning environmentsStrong knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and associated safeguarding legislationExperience providing strategic leadership at system levelAbility to influence and engage senior stakeholders across multiple organisationsExcellent communication and relationship management skillsDesirable ExperiencePrevious experience working within an ICB, CCG, NHS England, or similar commissioning organisationExperience supporting safeguarding assurance frameworks and governance processesKnowledge of wider health and social care commissioning arrangementsContract DetailsPosition: Designated Nurse Safeguarding AdultsLocation: London Based ICBWorking Pattern: 4 days per weekWorking Arrangement: Predominantly remoteContract Length: Until March 2027Start Date: End of June / ASAPPlease click here to find out more about our Key Information Documents.
