We are seeking a Microsoft Security Subject Matter Expert with deep architectural expertise and hands-on deployment experience across Microsoft's security ecosystem. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and optimising security solutions to protect digital assets and ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices. As the Microsoft Security SME, you will provide technical leadership, shape security strategy, and play a key role in delivering enterprise-scale security solutions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert for Microsoft security technologies, providing strategic guidance and technical leadership.
  • Design and implement robust security architectures using the Microsoft Defender Suite, Entra ID Protection, and Defender for Cloud.
  • Lead security deployment projects, ensuring best-practice configuration, integration, and operationalisation.
  • Collaborate closely with IT and security teams to assess risk, define security policies, and implement advanced threat protection measures.
  • Provide technical mentorship and knowledge transfer to internal teams on Microsoft security solutions.

Required skills & experience:

  • Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft security technologies, including: Microsoft Defender Suite (Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Office 365, and Cloud Apps), Entra ID Protection (identity governance, conditional access, MFA, and related controls), Defender for Cloud (cloud security posture management and workload protection).
  • Proven experience architecting and deploying enterprise-scale security solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles, identity security, and cloud security best practices.
  • Ability to translate complex security concepts into clear, actionable guidance for technical and non-technical audiences.
