I am representing a client who is seeking an HCPC-registered SALT to support learners with ASD, SLCN, and neurodiverse needs across educational settings.

Why this job means a lot to me: I was a teacher for 19 years working predominantly with such learners but more so, I had the benefit of Speech and Language Therapists when I was at school at the age of 5 and 6 here in the UK. About the Role
- Deliver tailored speech and language interventions for autistic learners, guided by the SCERTS Framework.
- Utilize AAC tools such as PECS, Makaton, and speech-generating devices to enhance communication.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to design individualized support plans.
- Contribute to Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) development and review.
- Support learners' sensory integration needs and emotional regulation strategies.
