Rare Opportunity: Senior Business Development Manager – Stadium & Major Events Tech

If you already have the phone numbers of stadium operators in your contacts list… keep reading.

Our client powers the technology behind some of the most iconic venues in global sport and live events – including Wembley Stadium, Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabéu, and the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Now we’re expanding in the UK stadia and major events market, and we’re looking for a true industry insider to lead that growth. This isn’t a standard sales role. This is an opportunity to own the UK stadium and events market for a proven global venue technology platform.

The Mission

We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager who understands how stadiums and major venues actually operate — from catering partners and fan experience to the commercial realities behind the scenes. Your role will be simple in concept, but powerful in impact:

  • Open the right doors.
  • Build strategic relationships.
  • Win landmark venues.

You’ll work directly with leadership to shape our UK growth strategy — and ultimately build and lead a sales team around you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Winning new business across stadiums, arenas, racecourses and major event venues
  • Leveraging your existing industry network to generate opportunities
  • Leading the full enterprise sales cycle from introduction to contract
  • Engaging with senior decision-makers across venue operators and catering groups
  • Representing our client at industry events and venue forums
  • Helping shape the future of stadium technology in the UK

What We’re Looking For

This role is designed for someone who already knows the stadium ecosystem. You likely have experience in:

  • Hospitality technology, POS, venue technology or payments
  • Enterprise SaaS or technology sales
  • Stadiums, arenas, racecourses or large live event venues

You might also already work with major catering operators such as:

  • Compass / Levy
  • Delaware North
  • Sodexo Live
  • Aramark
  • Legends Global
  • Elior

If you already have relationships in this space, we want to talk.

Why This Role Is Different

  • Work with globally recognised stadium clients
  • Shape the UK market strategy for an established international platform
  • Remote role with flexibility (UK based)
  • Opportunity to build and lead a UK sales team
  • High visibility with global leadership
  • Sell a platform already proven at world-class venues

Package

Salary: Negotiable for the right person

Plus:

  • Excellent recurring commission on every new venue secured
  • Uncapped earning potential
  • Flexible remote working
  • Travel allowance
  • Opportunity to step into future sales leadership

Ideally you’ll be able to spend around one day per week in the North West England office, but flexibility is available for the right candidate.

Who This Role Is Perfect For

  • Someone who has doors they can already open in stadiums or major venues
  • Loves winning new logos more than managing accounts
  • Understands the commercial ecosystem behind large venues
  • Wants to build something meaningful in the UK market

Interested? Apply with your CV. If you know the stadium industry, you’ll know how big this opportunity is.
