Real Recruitment is delighted to support our global client within the financial services sector to recruit an HR Advisor to join their UK People Team based in Bristol City Centre on a full time, permanent hybrid working basis (Two WFH days per week). This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR Advisor who has hands on experience across Employee Relations, Recruitment & Payroll Coordination.
This position offers hybrid working format (3 Office Days / 2 WFH Days) - The office is based in Bristol City Centre with no company parking. Therefore you will be able to demonstrate that you can commute to the office with ease.

About The Role:
Our client is a highly reputable global organisation with operations across the US and Europe. You’ll be joining a small, high-performing HR team where you’ll play a key role as a generalist HR Advisor, supporting a broad range of people initiatives. Your focus will span Employee Relations, Recruitment, and Payroll Coordination, alongside maintaining a strong understanding of HRIS (Workday) and SOPs.
- Providing expert advice on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Managing employee relations cases, including grievances and disciplinary actions.
- Guiding and supporting managers to ensure all actions and documentation align with employment law and company policy.
- Acting as the first point of contact for people-related queries, offering timely and practical HR advice.
- Leading complex ER cases, chairing meetings, and ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Supporting the recruitment and onboarding process for new hires.
- Coordinating the outsourced payroll process and ensuring accuracy.
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
- Contributing to the development and delivery of HR strategies and initiatives.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 9.00am – 5.30pm
What You Will Bring:
- You’ll be a highly analytical and solutions-focused HR professional, with proven experience supporting managers and employees across the full HR lifecycle.
- CIPD qualification (or working toward CIPD) with a minimum of 1 years’ HR experience.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Demonstrated experience managing employee relations cases from start to finish.
- Experienced coordinating payroll (1-2 years).
- Experienced in coordinating recruitment activities (full cycle).
- Confident communication skills and the ability to build strong, trusted relationships.
- A proactive, organised, and collaborative approach, thriving in a fast-paced, global environment.
