We are recruiting an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth across the South East region for a specialist provider of pump design, installation and maintenance solutions. This field-based role is ideal for a technically minded sales professional with experience in pumping stations, utilities, water, wastewater, or engineering services.
As an Area Sales Manager you will manage key accounts, develop new business, and work closely with senior management to deliver profitable and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities- Manage and develop customer accounts across the South East
- Identify and convert new business opportunities
- Sell pumping station design, installation, servicing and maintenance solutions
- Generate leads, prepare quotations, follow up opportunities and close sales
- Build long-term relationships with contractors, developers and end users
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting
- Use CRM (Zoho) and ERP (simPRO) systems effectively
- Monitor competitors, market trends and industry developments
