Hours of work: 8am – 5:30pm Mon – Fri

Our client, a Dorset based contractor, is looking to add to their team and is now recruiting for an Estimator. This contractor has been successfully building for over 30 years. They cover a range of new build and refurbishment projects across two arms of the business (Construction and General works). The construction division looks after schemes from £1-8 million which includes bespoke homes, through to pub/restaurant refurbishments and new build schools with local authorities. Boasting a current annual turnover of circa £10 million, due to growth in their business they are looking to recruit an Estimator.

What you’ll need to succeed:

To succeed in the role you will need to be an experienced Estimator with construction experience who has worked for a Property Development company or Building Contractor and have the personality to understand the demands and ethos of a privately owned company. The company are very 'hands on' and practical in their operations and your work ethic must reflect this. Ideally, experience will be from a residential or commercial contractor/sub-contractor. The business also offers continued professional development options and has a number of team days out.
