About the role:
As Head Housekeeper, you'll take pride in ensuring that the bedrooms and public areas are always presented to the highest standards. You’ll lead by example, managing a team of Room Attendants and working closely with the General Manager to deliver a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for every guest.
Key responsibilities for the Head Housekeeper:
- Oversee all housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public spaces, and laundry
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing housekeeping team
- Create efficient rotas, monitor workloads, and ensure smooth daily operations
- Conduct regular room and public area checks to maintain top-quality standards
- Manage inventory of linen, cleaning supplies, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and COSHH regulations
- Work collaboratively with front of house and maintenance teams
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Previous experience as a Head Housekeeper or Supervisor in a hotel setting (essential)
